Town of Duck Lake Celebrates Centennial with ACFC (January 31st 2012) - On Saturday, February 25, 2012, the Town of Duck Lake will celebrate the 100th year of its incorporation as a Town. L'Association Catholique Franco-Canadienne de la Saskatchewan, founded in Duck Lake in 1911, will share in the celebration. The ACFC is a provincial French organization which instituted and promotes the French language, education and religion throughout Saskatchewan. Celebration events include a Mass at the Blessed Sacrament Church, and refreshments, rib-eye steak dinner, entertainment and dance, with Donny Parenteau, at the Duck Lake Belle-a-drome. The evening will incude the unveiling of the ACFC jubilee theme song. Tickets for the event are $35.00 each and are available at the Town Office (English) 467-2277 and the Regional Interpretive Centre (French) 467-2057.

Citzen of the Year (January 9th 2012) - Edwin and Jocelyn Pelletier have been chosen as Duck Lake and District's citizen of the year.

Duck Lion's Bingo
The Lion's bingo is held every Tuesday evening at 7:30pm in the Duck Lake Belle-a-drome from October until June.


Beardy's Midget AAA Blackhawks Hockey
The Beardy's Blackhawks AAA team provides top notch hockey for hockey enthusiasts of all ages in the Beardy's - Duck Lake area. Home ice for the team is the Beardy's Memorial Arena located approx. 8km west of Duck Lake on highway #212 on the Beardy's & Okemasis Reserve.

Jack Pine Stables
Jack Pine Stables Bed and Breakfast offers trail rides, nature walks, wagon and sleigh rides and riding lessons. Various other activities throughout the year include gymkhana, singles' weekends, card playing and karaoke. New to 2008 is a mini-golf course.
